What is the shelf life of Four Paws treats?

When stored properly, our homemade dog treats can remain fresh for up to a few weeks. However, due to our commitment to using only all-natural ingredients in every batch, the shelf life may not be as lengthy as other biscuits.
To maintain freshness, we remove all moisture from our treats before packaging. It is essential to note that treats will expire if kept beyond the expiration date, so please enjoy them within the recommended timeframe.

Does Four Paws add preservations to their homemade dog treats? 

No. A lot of pet owners want to feed their dogs all-natural and healthy dog treats. We only incorporate one preservative into our products: Vitamin E powder. This not only aids in preserving our treats but also offers potential health benefits for your dog, including assistance with various conditions like respiratory infections, allergies, and more.

How do I store my Four Paws homemade treats?

Air-tight containers

Air-tight containers are the ideal way to store homemade all-natural dog treats.   

Freezer

If you do not intend to give your pup our homemade all-natural treats immediately, we suggest storing them in your freezer. This approach can also effectively extend the shelf life of the treats, ensuring they stay fresh for longer periods.
